Rick & Sheryl
          ...building a Houshold of Faith

Picture
We began singing  together even before our  wedding day on August 18, 1984.  The ministry officially began on our wedding day as well.  Soon after, we realized that God was calling us to live a life of faith.     Through time, and many circumstances beyond our control, we began to see God's provision and supernatural intervention.
As each of our six children have come along, we've made every effort to teach them and guide them, in faith, to always look for God's hand in everything.  This is just one reason why we have chosen to Home-School our children.  Deuteronomy 6 says  “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart.  You shall teach them diligently to your children...

Home and family are very near and dear to our hearts!   We do just about everything at home!  There is office work!  Music practice!  Puppet making!
Prop building! etc.  We have school at home!  We do all our own Haircuts at home!    In fact, our kids were born at home and we even built our own house!  But, we are most committed to building a Household of Faith!  A faith that seeks first God's Kingdom in every circumstance and situation.

Our goal has always been to prepare our children for a life of service in God's Kingdom here on earth!  Our two oldest children have moved on and are involved in ministry.
Lawra, 25, lives in Middletown, Maryland and works with a ministry called Revive Israel. A ministry who's purpose is to see the restoration of Israel. That all of Israel will know Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah and come to know Him as Savior and Lord!!
Andrew, 23, was married in September of 2010 to Sarah! They live in Ijamsville, Maryland. Andrew is Worship Pastor of New Life Four Square Church in Frederick, Md.
Isaac, Caleb, Aaron and Anna Joy serve with the family ministry!
Isaac
, 20, performs ventriloquism in our concerts with his cat Lou. He sings, plays hand bells and percussion. Isaac is also an artist. He paints, sculps and scetches.
He makes puppets for our children's ministry and is currently writing a book.
Caleb, 17, studies Classical Piano and accompanies the family in ministry. He composes and arranges much of the music we perform. He also plays guitar, sings and rings hand bells,
Aaron, 15, accompanies the family on percussion. He sings, plays the hand bells with the family and helps run sound and power-point for our children's ministry.
Anna Joy, 12, Sings and plays hand bells with the family! She also performs puppets in our children's minstry and loves to help out with the office work for the ministry!

What we believe

We believe in God the Father, Creator of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  Jesus bore every man, woman and child's sin upon the cross, where He suffered, bled and died to redeem us from our sin and to make a way for us to have a personal relationship with God.

Jesus rose physically from the grave and appeared to His disciples before ascending into heaven, where He is right now, preparing a place for all of us who believe and receive Him in our hearts as Savior and Lord!

We believe in the Holy Spirit who was and is given as a gift by God to the believer and receiver of Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit gives understanding of God's word (the Bibile) and brings conviction to point us from darkness to light in times of temptation.  We believe the Holy Spirit brings anointing and supernatural strength from God and places it on the hearts of those who surrender their lives as a living sacrifice for service in His Kingdom here on earth.

We believe in God's word ( the Bible) which is all true and therefore must be obeyed as our authority.

We believe that Jesus is coming back very soon for those who truly believe.
